BzzAgent Update!

Happy Monday to me. I got another awesome BzzCampaign... SkinnyGirl Cocktails!

I love SkinnyGirl Margaritas but with this campaign I get to try Mojito, Moscato, White Cherry Vodka & Sweet N' Tart Grapefruit Margarita. I think I see a girls day/playdate in my future.

I have gotten some awesome campaigns lately. I currently have 2 others...

I have never used shoe inserts but I'll give it a shot, the freebie I got is for flats so I stuck them in my work shoes. They really do make a difference ... I LOVE them.

I almost didn't accept this one because the hub is really picky about what he uses on lawn but I'm glad I did because it works great & it's so freakin easy! You hook it to the hose and spray ... within a few days out plants grew and bloomed. We didn't plant anything new this year just our same ole' perennials but they honestly look amazing. We will be continuing to buy this.

I also just finished up with....
Got2b POWDER'ful- Really does add volume and helps if you trying to do a "bump-up" type thing. I used it on day old hair. It leaves your hair feeling kind of funny so it definitely has to be washed out.
and....
Children's Claritin- C's allergies normally aren't too bad and the past year she was taking a prescription version of Zyrtec with low dosage because of her age. I accepted this campaign not thinking I would use it but ended up really happy to have it laying around. C takes it everyday & it really helps. I have bought 3 more boxes since the campaign ended. The best part is kids can use this at the age of 2.

Thanks but no thanks Bzz

I am not a fan of at home hair dye, to be honest the thought of screwing up my hair gives me crazy anxiety. BUT BzzAgent picked me as part of their Garnier Olia campaign so I decided to suck it up. I decided to go with Dark Soft Mahogany because I love the reddish tint that was supposed to come with it. Well, long story short, I'm not a fan! I didn't like that I had to leave it on for 30 minutes, I know in the past with at home hair dye it processed much quicker- I'm sure it's because this dye is "better" for your hair but I was bored. It also left my hair VERY dry, after rinsing it and adding their conditioning cream, I had to put some leave in conditioner in just to brush my hair. My hair is NEVER dry! I was not at all happy.
The only good things are... the price ($8.99 IMO is a low price for hairdye) and the fact that it didn't have any smell!
*before*

*I was starting at light brown*
*after dying & after some serious conditioning products*

Bzz did it again

Are you a member of BzzAgent?? If not, sign up, like right now!! My mailbox is always full of awesome freebies and coupons, annnd bills but whatever. Last week I received my latest BzzAgent Campaign, which I was more than excited about....

This razor is AMAZING & I'm a picky girl when it comes to shaving. My skin is sensitive, dry & I have a hard time getting a close shave under my arms. The Shick Hydro Silk left me with no complaints. It left my skin so soft even with this crazy cold weather that normally dries them out & I had no problems with my underarms either.
The razor has this weird arch to it which took some getting used to, but now I don't even notice it. I also really like with it came with a little hook to hang in the shower.
Try it out & let me know what you think.

Update..

Story of my life, I'm behind on everything ... blogging, instagrams monthly challenge, what I'm thankful for today's, blah blah blah! I've been busy. I have really have been bad at taking pictures lately, which I'm bummed about!

I have made some yummy new recipes & will blog about eventually. I'm really looking forward to trying some new Christmas goodies... thank you Pinterest. Speaking of Christmas I am SOOOO ready!! Hard to believe I will be able to start decorating this time next week :eeek: and our elf friend Buddy will be back destroying my house. I decided to be a little bit more organized with his shenanigans this year, so I printed a calendar for December and wrote what would happen each day. Last year I just kinda winged it. Do you have any favorite traditions? We do a few different things...
  • Thanksgiving morning we eat stuffing for breakfast while we watch the parade ... I make good stuffing with sausage and everything in it. This tradition started with my step mom and will continue forever!
  • Buddy of course, will show up in the mail next week & stay until Christmas.
  • We bake cookies and give them to well, anyone I can, I just love making them. This year I'm going to make cinnamon sugar almonds in the crock pot too.
  • Christmas Eve buddy will bring PJ's for the entire family and a Christmas movie to watch, this year I'm thinking Arthur Christmas. I also ordered The Pajama Elves Book this year!
I saw this cute little elf door that you put up against your base board buuut I'm pretty sure I can make a cuter one, so that will come next year.

Enough about Christmas ..... I haven't hosted a HouseParty in a LONG time but I signed up and ACTUALLY got picked to host one for SodaStream. I'm not at all a soda drinker {maybe 1 soda a month but that's pushing it} but I'm excited about this little machine! It gives you recipes for sparkling tea and grown up drinks too!

I also just signed up for BzzAgent & I'm so addicted to filling out all the surveys! How did I not know about this??

Family update.... we are all doing great!! I start a part-time bartending job tonight & I'm really looking forward to it, I miss the bar atmosphere a lot. C is doing great in school and learning so much, amazes me everyday. M just brought home straight A's AGAIN, the kid has never brought home anything else. J is doing well too- he is in the process of job hunting, he has done auto body work his entire life and I think it's really wearing on him.
